SHAWNEE MISSION, Kan. — Seaboard Foods will award 20 $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors from community high schools and an additional five $1,000 scholarships to children of Seaboard Foods’, Seaboard Transport and High Plains Bioenergy employees, totaling $25,000 for the 2015-2016 academic year.
Graduating high school seniors in communities with Seaboard Foods’ business operations are encouraged to complete an online scholarship application, which are due on March 31, 2015. Children of Employees Scholarship ProgramSeaboard Foods will also offer scholarships for children of employees. Five $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to children of Seaboard Foods, High Plains Bioenergy and/or Seaboard Transport employees. Children must be high school seniors graduating and attending full-time higher education (four-year, two-year and technical education) for the 2015-2016 academic year.
